It’s like, “how do you get a job?” Think of YouTube as your resume :) When you get that exposure, companies will notice you and maybe they’ll want to contact you then to do a collaboration with you by sending you products, doing reviews, giveaways etc. But if you’re just starting out (well actually, even if you’re not), emailing a company about testing out their products etc isn’t a bad thing :) So you can either wait for them to email/contact you or you can email/contact them yourself. Good luck!
» What is the best thing that has come from being on YouTube?
There’s so many things… first I would have to say the FRIENDS that I made through YouTube. I’ve became good friends with so many girls and it’s amazing! To name a few, Mary, Asher, Nicole, Adriene, Livie, Kayleigh. Not only the beauty gurus, I’ve also became good friends with some of my subscribers which I think is so awesome! Also all the amazing opportunities of working with different types of companies! From makeup to fashion. Seriously, half the things I have, I wouldn’t have been able to afford. (I know… sad) But with YouTube, it gave me exposure and companies were nice enough to send me things to review and I couldn’t be anymore grateful for that. Of course being partners with YouTube & StyleHaul also is amazing! Who knew you could get paid for doing what you really LOVE and ENJOYED doing!?

Do video responses on videos you like, keep in mind that the video has to be relevant to each other please. There’s nothing for annoying than someone doing a video response of a “Haul” video on a “Makeup Tutorial” video. Also, never forget to fill in the “TAGS” section when uploading. If you didn’t know, “tags” are like keywords. So if people search “makeup” your video will pop up along with others that has that same tag.
