Before I get started on this review, I think you should know the following.
» I have combination skin.
» I don’t have acne prone skin. (But I do get pimples here and there)
» I’m in shade NC35 in MAC, Medium-Medium Plus in MAC MSFN, 4N1 Wheat in Estee Lauder Double Wear & 310 Bisque 6W in Lancome Teint Miracle.
» NOTE that I also like to use foundations that are a shade lighter than me. I don’t know why but it just looks better I think after I do my contouring and all that 🙂
Claims: Naked Skin uses light-diffusing spheres to ‘blur’ imperfections for a luminous, demi-matte finish that feels invisible but looks professionally retouched. Naked Skin is oil-free, paraben-free, fragrance-free, and loaded with nourishing ingredients.
Comes in: 18 meticulously calibrated shades use a numbering system to help you choose your perfect match. Shades ending in ‘.0’ are warm (yellow/olive undertones). Shades ending in ‘.5’ are cool (rosy/neutral undertones).
MY THOUGHTS:
It was love at first sight and love at first use! hehe
» Packaging: How can you not like it? It’s sleek, the color is lovely and the pump is very nice and controllable. I also really like the fact that you can see what’s inside! Definitely a thumbs up!
Oh another thing… you know how nail polishes has those beads inside? This does too, you’ll hear it once you shake it hehe. I think that’s a nice little addition to the packaging.
» Shades: I was honestly so overwhelmed that there’s so many shades. Then again that’s a great thing that there’s tons of options and for all undertones. When I went to the store, I literally swatched 4 different shades on my arm, 2 being the yellow/olive undertone and the other rosy/neutral undertones.
At first the shades seemed a little too light but after walking around the store for a good 10+ minutes, the foundation had time to set and I couldn’t believe I was that light colored! lol I was actually torn between, 4.0 & 4.5… but I settled with 4.0 with the yellow/olive undertone 🙂 It looks more natural on my complexion.
» Oil-free & Lasting Power: In my video I had on the foundation for 6 hours and it still looked flawless/I didn’t need to retouch at all. I’m super impressed! It is winter right now, so I am wondering how this will perform in the summer.
» Coverage/Finish & Weight: For coverage, I would say it is Light to Medium. It did a good job getting rid of all my face’ discoloration and red spots. The finish was semi-matte and very very natural. I love that! It is super light weight, hence why they call it “weightless.” I guess they weren’t lying! hehe
» Others: Blends really nicely & fragrance-free.

Urban Decay must be a really good brand because I keep seeing all sorts of great reviews of their line of beauty products in blogs. It’s good that the foundation can match a number of skin colors.

You’re a natural on camera. The product looks like a quality foundation that last long on the skin.
