I stopped by at Sephora when I visited my hometown last weekend ♥
I wanted to use the giftcards I received for my birthday/pick up some new goodies for fall.
First thing I really wanted was some new lipsticks. I already have 3 great lippies for the fall/winter season that I always go-to but I just felt like I need more hehe. So before I show you all my new ones I picked up, here are the ones that I already had since last fall/winter.
Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Lipstick ($34.00) in #9 Caress Pink: A muted raspberry pink – I’ve had this lipstick for years now! lol I wanna say, 3 years? You can definitely say that it is one of my favorite lipsticks to date! It’s perfect for any seasons and can be worn whenever – dab it on your lips lightly for a daytime look or swipe it on your lips for a more intense color for nighttime.
Benefit Cosmetics Full-Finish Lipstick ($18.00) in Espionage: Black Cherry – Definitely the perfect color for winter! It was totally my favorite last winter whenever I wanted to look like I tried but really didn’t haha. I love this color.
Lastly, Benefit Cosmetics Full-Finish Lipstick ($18.00) in Wanna?: Royal Raspberry – Goodness, I wore this almost everyday last fall/winter. It’s a shade or two darker than Caress Pink, but for some reason I reached for this lipstick way more than the others as for an everyday lippie.

Are you excited to see the beauties I picked up!? Here they are!
Yves Saint Laurent Lipsticks ♥
I just had to! They’re a bit pricey but I thought to myself, it’s technically still your birthday… birthday month so it’s totally okay haha. Plus I really wanted another YSL lippie since I really do like things to be “even.”
First one is Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Lipstick in #12 Forbidden Burgundy: A deep plum burgundy color, which I thought would just be perfect for this season. It really reminded me of Espionage by Benefit Cosmetics.
It is such a gorgeous color and since I only had one color like this, I had to get another one! Also considering the fact that “oxblood” color is totally in this season… it’s a MUST!
The other one is Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté Shine in #16 Orange Impertinent: A summery orange color – but totally wearable. I wanted a “coral” shade since I only have one in my collection and my mind was set on buying #13 Peach Passion but after swatching it against this coral shade -Orange Impertinent, OH did my mind change instantly! It is a gorgeous color and totally wearable for everyday and can also build up to be brighter on the lips.

After finding the perfect lip colors, I was determined to find a new foundation. My Lancome Teint Miracle ran out, though I had a new back-up, I wanted to get a different foundation for I’ve noticed that I’ve been getting oilier and oilier lately. (Did that happen to you or anyone you know? I swear, every year, I get oilier… *sigh*) Any who, I knew I wanted to stick with Lancome since I truly LOVE(D) Lancome Teint Miracle – for 3 years now! So… I asked my dear friend Hieu who works for Lancome and he suggested the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H foundation ($45.00) for better coverage and oily skin ♥ And I have to say… I’M LOVING IT SO FAR!
Just like the Lancome Teint Miracle, it’s: full coverage, light weight, easy to blend, natural/semi-satin finish, a bit mattifying and long lasting. I love this. I also do feel that it does a better job on keeping me oil-free throughout the day. YAYYYYY Thank you Hieuy! Love this foundation ♥
Now you didn’t think I would leave Sephora without getting any Benefit Cosmetics products did you!?
I’ve had my eyes on this powder for quite some time now 🙂 Benefit Cosmetics ‘Hello Flawless!’ SPF 15 ($34.00) in ‘Why Walk When You Can Strut?’ Hazelnut – for deep mocha complexions. I haven’t had the chance to try it out yet but I sure em excited! I’ve heard so many good reviews about this product that I have such high expectations lol Really crossing my fingers that it doesn’t let me down.
Look at that packaging! Ah, so lovely! It also comes with a brush and sponge.
So that’s pretty much it. That’s everything I picked up from Sephora last weekend. I’m super excited about my purchases. I will be doing a review/demo on the foundation and powder later on. ♥ I hope you enjoyed this post! xoxo

Oh gad. I know the feels! We can’t just stop buying lipsticks to the point that even if we already have a shade close to one of our lipsticks, we’re still tempted to buy! I love YSL lipsticks but I don’t like the finish. I prefer matte above anything else.
I so enjoy reading your blog, ate! For how many years na akong fan ng blog mo. 🙂

Ahh! Jealous! I’ve been obsessing over YSL lipstick in Caress Pink and Forbidden Burgundy for so long now… I’m trying to hold out till my birthday month (November) haha. I still got some drugstore lipstick that is kind of similar to those colors, but the YSL packaging is gorg.
