Everyone loves a good cream eyeshadow! It could be used as a base or as a shadow alone, it’s great! So Benefit Cosmetics released some new shades last Spring and here are my thoughts on the ones I got my hands on.
Bikini-tini – Oyster pink R.S.V.P. – Sparkling champagne (original shade) No Pressure! – Rich fawn My Two Cents – polished copper Always a Bridesmaid – Pearly lavender Blue My Mind – Arctic blue Bronze Have More Fun – Antique bronze Skinny Jeans – Pretty Pewter (original shade) Holy Smokes! – Smoldering charcoal Birthday Suit – Brushed chrome (original shade)
And here are the swatches :)
Left to right: My Two Cents, Holy Smokes! and Birthday Suit
My Two Cents is my fave! Can you guess why? Because it’s a bronzy color! haha What a surprise!? But really though, I can wear this alone. It is perfect!
Holy Smokes! is great for creating smokey looks. Use it as a base or as a crease color to create that depth.
Birthday Suit is something I’ve always used as a base. For some reason it reminds me of MAC’s Painterly though this has more to it -you can actually wear this alone and go for that natural look.
Overall: First of all, I absolutely love the packaging! The glass container is amazing – LOVE. They are super creamy, it is a cream after-all. Really easy to apply, moist and slick. Whenever I wear these, I don’t usually use a primer beforehand so with that said, really these stay in a LONG time and does not crease overtime.
